      Computer Education and Instructional Technology Program

6. Purpose of the Program

Computer Education and Instructional Technology Undergraduate Program consists of three main dimensions: professional development (pedagogical knowledge), content knowledge and general culture.

The duration of the Computer Education and Instructional Technology Undergraduate Program is four years. The language of the program is in Turkish. The undergraduate program consists of 240 ECTS credit in accordance with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).

Students who successfully complete all the courses in the undergraduate program and have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 are eligible to receive a Bachelor's Degree.

In addition, the undergraduate program provides students provides knowledge and skills in programming languages, database management, web design, multimedia design, material design, distance education, project development and management and basic pedagogical formation.

8. Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Graduates are employed as information technology teachers, computer formator teachers, instructor and instructional designers in educational institutions and in the private sector, they are employed as web designers and computer programmers.
