Preschool Education
Purpose of the Program
A predominantly activity and material-based, practical education is being conducted to ensure that teacher candidates who will work with children aged 0-6 acquire the necessary knowledge and develop skills related to the field.
Graduates can work in independent kindergartens affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, kindergarten classes within primary schools, nurseries, and kindergartens of various public and private institutions/organizations.There is also a graduate program in this field.
Students are admitted to the Preschool Teaching Undergraduate Program according to the SÖZ score type from the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) score types. According to the 2023 YKS results, the base score of the Ege University Faculty of Education Preschool Teaching Undergraduate Program is 421,229. The student quota of the Preschool Teaching Undergraduate Program is 50 students.
The Preschool Teaching Undergraduate Program was accredited by the Association for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs.

Preschool Education Graduate Program
The purpose of the Preschool Education Master's Program is to help Preschool Teachers, who will work in private and public kindergartens, nurseries and primary school kindergarten classes affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, improve themselves scientifically in terms of both subject knowledge and field education. The program includes courses on child development, variables affecting education and teaching different educational approaches in the field of preschool, and research methods. In addition, there are elective courses on student-teacher relationship, health-improving schools, child science and technology, which students are given the opportunity to choose according to their own preferences.
