2. Purpose of the Division
Division of Curriculum and Instruction is one of the four main divisions under the Department of Educational Sciences at Ege University Faculty of Education. Curriculum and Instruction Division aims to help individuals become experts on topics such as developing and evaluating curriculum, learning and teaching process and teacher education. In this sense, in the Division of Curriculum and Instruction, distance education graduate program without thesis, graduate program with thesis and doctoral degree education are given, in order to train specialists or assistant specialists for the several units of educational institutions, various ministries, Turkish Armed Forces and Banks etc. and also faculty members for the universities.

6. Purpose of the Programs
The aim of Curriculum and Instruction Master’s Program (with thesis) is to train curriculum specialists who can perform design, implementation, evaluation and develop a curriculum, act in accordance with professional ethics principles, and examine education problems by taking scientific method as basis.
Curriculum and Instruction Distance Education-Master's Program (without thesis) is to develop the competencies of the individuals who will work in the dimensions of planning, implementation and evaluation of educational activities.
Curriculum and Instruction Doctoral Program aims to train future academicians.
7. Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Individuals who graduated from the Division of Curriculum and Instruction can work as specialist/ assistant specialist at provincial ministries of education, curriculum specialists or academic coordinator at Curriculum Development units of private schools; faculty members for universities; education specialists/assistant specialists at all stages of the Military and for public institutions.
